For several years I've been helping friends and clients save money on their property taxes by reducing the assessed evaluation of their property by HCAD. One friend was told by the Appraisal Review Borad that they had never seen anyone so well prepared as he was with the packet I had prepared for him. WHAT DO I DO? Determine the condition of your property by interviewing you over the phone, using your HCAD account numbers to see what info HCAD is using to determine your assessment and the agent only info on Houston MLS info on sold homes enables me to prepare a packet of information suitable for the Appraisal Review Board. |

TWO OPTIONS 1. I prepare a packet of information specific to your property, review it with you and your proceed with your own "i-file" and possibly appearing before the Appraisal Review Board. Flat fee of $75.00 or possibly less. 2. I prepare a packet and I go through the process of the "i-file" and possibly appearing before the Appraisal Review Board. 40% of the estimated tax savings. |
Calculation of Estimated Tax Savings (example)

Original tax assessment $175,000 - Final tax assessment 160,000 Estimated tax savings 15,000 Divide $15,000 by 100 = $150.00 (You divide by 100 since the tax rate is per 100) $150 X your tax rate (example 2.39) = $358.50 This is your tax savings by lowering the assessment $358.50 X 40% = $143.40 amount due me. |

Of course, there are no guarantees that your taxes will be lowered. If I think their assessment is valid then I'll let you know. |
